AVIcode, a provider of real-time .NET
application monitoring solutions, has announced Version 5.6 of its Intercept uX
technology, a client-side monitoring tool designed to automatically detect
application problems from the end user’s perspective.
The new release is aimed at providing detailed insight into the end-user
experience with applications. Intercept uX 5.6 offers major new features and
enhancements that improve customers’ ability to monitor the complete end-user
experience from “keyboard-to-eyeball” and proactively addresses end-user
concerns, AVIcode officials said.
Intercept uX collects statistical and trending information on all
user-initiated transactions, providing a comprehensive picture of application
health and response times from the user’s viewpoint—making it easy to determine
when problems arise and to quickly provide a definitive root-cause diagnosis,
the company said.
“Our main goal is to help our customers maximize availability, slash
downtime and ultimately find success with all of their Web applications,” said
Victor Mushkatin, chief technology officer of AVIcode, in a statement. “By
uniting Intercept Studio’s application monitoring and Intercept uX’s end-user
monitoring capabilities, AVIcode is the only solution that allows you to gain
insight into the total health of an application—from keyboard to eyeball—and
make real-time changes as needed.”
New features include support for per tenant data collection for multitenant
applications, statistical tracing information, and support and usability
enhancements. AVIcode’s Intercept uX 5.6 enables customers to see data that
shows how users navigate a site and, when correlated with application
performance or health data, can deliver insight into where and how performance
issues are affecting end users.
In addition, Intercept uX 5.6 features enhancements for improved handling of
Asynchronous JavaScript and X M L (AJAX) calls; more in-depth SharePoint
client-side data collection; additional support for Internet Explorer 8,
Firefox 3.5, Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 7; and improved support for Citrix
servers, AVIcode officials said.
Moreover, the new release addresses the challenge that organizations face as
they roll out more and more advanced Internet and browser-based applications.
By implementing in-depth monitoring that follows the complete end-user
experience, AVIcode customers can maximize uptime and performance.
