HAHT Commerce Suite adds bundling options for the chemical, consumer products and discrete manufacturing verticals.

Demand chain management software developer HAHT Commerce Inc. shipped version 7.1 of its HAHT Commerce Suite Monday, with the main new feature being three new bundling options for the chemical, consumer products and discrete manufacturing verticals. HAHTs suite provides integrated order management, product and brand information management, channel management, business intelligence and customer service between manufacturers, their channel partners and customers. The three new bundles support automated business processes specific to those vertical industries.
The Consumer Products Suite allows users to define multiple packaging configurations for each product and maintain complex packaging relationships. It also features a specific workflow for new product introductions and workgroup-level security, edit controls and validation rules for product information.
It supports the UCCNet Global Registry for item synchronization and market groups, faster production of product data sheets and catalogs, easier access to frequently ordered or accessed product data, dynamic querying of product data, and improved reporting controls for analysis. The HAHT Chemicals Suite features a Quote Management tool to shorten price negotiations with customers, automatic replenishment based on collaboration, events and order history, and the ability to convert faxed purchase orders directly into the ERP system. It also supports Chemical Industry Data Exchange (CIDX) 3.0 Chem eStandards and provides enhanced analysis of sales channels, including customer segmentation.
The HAHT Discrete Manufacturing Suite allows channel partners to customize catalogs and manufacturers site content on co-branded Web pages. The channel can also define specifc product bundles and gain cost-savings from optimized shipping-point models. This suite also provides line-item order history search and personalized context-sensitive e-mail alerts. All products are available now. Pricing ranges from $75,000 to $250,000 per module, with typical installations costing under $500,000 including software and services, according to HAHT officials in Raleigh, N.C.
