New features include elements of the
recently released Intel Parallel Studio, product support for Intel Advanced
Vector Extensions (AVX) and updates for integration with Microsoft
Visual Studio, Eclipse, and Xcode. The update also incorporates enhancements to
the Intel Fortran and C++ compilers, Intel Math Kernel Library and Intel

Intel officials said the product is "easy to install and easy to use,"
and helps developers build, analyze and optimize performance of parallel
applications for clusters using Intel 32- and 64-bit architectures.
The Intel Cluster Toolkit bundles Intel Trace Analyzer and Collector, Intel
Math Kernel Library, Intel MPI Library and Intel MPI Benchmarks into a single
package. The kits are designed to ensure compatibility and interoperability of
all these tools, Intel said.
