Kurant last week introduced an upgrade to its StoreSense e-commerce software for small and midsize businesses.Kurant last week introduced an upgrade to its StoreSense e-commerce software for small and midsize businesses, or SMBs, that more tightly links Web storefronts to back-end transactions.
StoreSense 5.5 enables retailers or services companies to bill and collect payments online, company officials said.
Version 5.5 provides a new tagging language, called StoreSense Markup Language, for creation of unique Web storefronts. New marketing capabilities in the upgrade give SMBs more flexibility in offering promotions and provide new product search and categorization features.
