Macromedias JRun While ColdFusion runs on top of JRun, this sister application server competes with both ColdFusion and PHP (macromedia.com)

Microsofts ASP.net The core and also affordable Microsoft Web application platform (asp.net)

Zope The open-source application server based on the Python language (zope.org)
