Microsoft Refines Internet Explorer Platform Preview 2

Microsoft has released Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview 2, available for developer download at the IE Test Drive site . This release builds on the initial platform preview and includes: additional improvements to the IE9 preview performance, enhanced support for standards, additional tests submitted to the working groups at the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and more than 10 new developer samples on the IE9 Test Drive site that highlight performance, graphics and HTML5. The goal of this release is to enable the same markup—the same HTML, the same CSS, the same script—to work the same across different browsers.
