Proxim last week unveiled several products that support the 802.11g wireless LAN protocol, including trimode client devices that support 802.11a, 802.11b and 802.11g.

The lineup includes the Orinoco AP-2000b/g Dual Slot Access Point, which has slots for two radios; the Orinoco AP-600b/g, which supports a single radio; and several client cards for desktops and notebooks that come in both dual- and trimode versions. The products are available now.
