Just announced this week, Sony is introducing the worlds first HDTV with internet built in. The TV will also be powered by Google TV, allowing users search the web, Tv listings or apps or do both at the same time. We have all of the pricing details; Microsoft and Facebook are introducing two new social-search features that leverage Facebook connections for supposedly more-accurate Web search results. The new social-search features are scheduled to roll out in the United States over the next few weeks. So you know what that means—go double check your privacy settings, like now; Opera Software shared some details of the next version of its browser, Opera 11, noting that the browser will support extensions. Meanwhile, Opera Mobile for Android is on the way, with new features such as hardware acceleration and Pinch to Zoom. And today, Friday Oct. 15th, marks the day that Apple's iPad will be available in Wal-Mart stores. Wal-Mart apparently plans on selling the iPad "for the same price as other retailers, and will likely follow in Best Buy's footsteps and heavily promote the iPad during the holiday shopping .
