Arrow says profitability was not the best in the third quarter due to its product mix and investments.

Arrow Electronics saw strong growth in its global enterprise computing solutions group in the third quarter, with sales climbing by 97 percent to $1.17 billion on a spate of acquisitions including KeyLink Systems Group and Alternative Technology. On a pro forma basis, sales increased 15 percent year over year for the distribution giants enterprise computing operations.
