Google June 14 introduced Google Earth 5.2 with a number of new perks to help local and world travelers study the various terrains they plan to traverse, or perhaps to use just as a research tool. The application includes an embedded browser and infographics to make hiking, biking and exploring trails more useful. The application also supports Apple's iPad, which is proving to be quite the treat for Apple enthusiasts who use Google Earth.
