: ATAboy2"> Executive Summary: ATAboy2
Nexsans ATAboy2 ATA hard drive-based RAID unit gives price-sensitive companies the raw capacity they have desperately needed for years. Performance and manageability are weaker than in enterprise-class SCSI and Fibre Channel solutions.
Its hard to argue with 1.34 terabytes of capacity for a mere $13,100. The ATAboy2 will work well as a primary storage device for low-end to midrange shops, and it will be a good archive system for enterprise-class sites. (+) High capacity; superlow cost. (-) No LUN masking; middling performance. EVALUATION SHORT LIST
