Iomega Launches Wireless Network Storage
Iomega's NAS 100d serves up built-in 802.11g support.
Iomega Corp.s new NAS 100d network-attached storage servers add a feature that may leave the competition scramblingwireless capabilities. Built-in 802.11g support allows it to connect wirelessly to an existing wireless network, so you can place it anywhere within your APs range. When plugged into an existing wired network, the NAS 100d server can also act as a wireless access point. Security is limited to WEP, however.
