SANRAD Inc. on Wednesday released StoragePro Services 2.0 for the companys V-Switch line of IP storage-area network product.
The new version offers a range of data duplication and reliability features including volume snapshots, mirroring, and support for RADIUS authentication for secure iSCSI connection. The StoragePro GUI management software can handle a cluster or multiple clusters of V-Switch SANs.
According to the San Francisco company, users can copy data between volumes, devices or storage systems at speeds up to 1TB per hour with its FastCopy routines.
