An unexpected second-quarter order decline cuts revenue expectations.

Storage Technology Corp. last week announced expectations of second-quarter revenue between $510 million and $520 million. Analysts predict revenue of $549.44 million, according to First Call.

The company said its revenue shortfall came from unexpected order decline in the last two weeks of the quarter.
