There's been a lot of speculation on when, whether and if Microsoft will make its patch-update feature an automatic default in Windows Longhorn. But it seems the Redmond software giant already is working on making auto-update a part of current and future versions of SQL Server. Microsoft isnt talking dates as to when automatic patching for SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 7.0 and SQL Server Yukon will go live, but its a given.
