Randy Dyess, founder of the Web site www.database-security.info and a tester of the Beta 1 version of Microsofts Yukon version of the SQL Server database, says its got a sleek interface, a welcome new focus on security and table partitioning functionality thats making big-database pros drool. On the down side, the early version is still somewhat unstable. The learning curve for the final product is also going to be steep, since its such a huge release, Dyess said.
