Adult-film performers have suggested the use of a massive database to track performers' exposure to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS.

Adult-film performers have suggested the use of a massive database to track performers exposure to HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. Such a tool would be similar to a system used by horse breeders to track horses exposures to viruses during breeding and would depend upon unverified data entry. On the upside, it would likely be an improvement over whats going on now: namely, industry workers rifling through stacks of faxes to determine second- and third-generation contact lists.
