Dell has always sold a lot of PCs and servers in the enterprise—in fact, Forrester Research ranks the company No. 1 in this market—but with the economy hitting financial services hard in 2008, Dell is looking to entice more SMBs (small and midsize businesses) to switch to its products. At an analyst meeting the week of March 31, Michael Dell promised to expand the company's low-cost line of products and PCs.
