ISVs Roll Out Tools at IBM DeveloperWorks
NEW ORLEANSIndependent software vendors announced new tools on Wednesday to support IBMs middleware and operating system platforms at the IBM developerWorks Live conference here. Cambridge, Mass.-based Curl Corp. announced the Linux version of its Curl Client/Web Platform, the companys rich application development platform, including its integrated development environment (IDE) and runtime environment. Officials said the Curl development environment integrates with back-end systems such as IBMs iSeries machines. "As demand for Linux continues to grow, we believe our Linux users will accelerate Curl adoption within organizations of all sizes," said Robert Hoyt, senior vice president at Curl.Meanwhile, Waterloo, Ontario-based MKS Inc. announced it is previewing a new solution for addressing the problem of managing changes to key business applications. MKS is previewing its MKS Build and Deployment solution, which provides a consistent way to introduce software changes into a production environment. Known for delivering configuration management solutions in addition to other tools, MKS has based its MKS Build and Deployment solution on its MKS Integrity Solution. MKSs Build and Deployment solution, which will be a part of the MKS Integrity Solution for enterprise software configuration management, will be available next month, the company said.
The Curl Client/Web Platform for Linux will be available from Curl this fall starting at $25,000.
