Desktops and Notebooks: Lenovo ThinkPad Laptops, ThinkCentre PCs Power Tornado Watchers
More than 50 Lenovo Think-brand PCs are headed for tornado alley, powering an $11.9 million tornado field research project by the Center for Severe Weather Research (CSWR). The project will begin on May 8 in Norman, Okla., and include more than 100 scientists, span 500,000 square miles across seven states, and use 40 specially designed vehicles, 70 pieces of weather equipment and Lenovo ThinkPad laptops, ThinkCentre desktops, ThinkVision monitors and IdeaPad netbooks.
