The ThinkPad T400s starts at $1,599, which places the notebook in the same price range as many of Lenovo’s other enterprise laptops.
The Thin-and-Light ThinkPad T400s
The ThinkPad T400s uses the same carbon fiber technology found in Lenovo’s high-end ThinkPad X300, which makes this new notebook light and a solid travel companion for road warriors and others on-the-go.
Data Storage and the ThinkPad T400s
In addition to a traditional hard disk drive, Lenovo is including a solid state drive option with the ThinkPad T400s. A user can select a SSD that can hold between 64GB and 265GB of data. The T400s also offers up to 4GB of DDR3 main memory.

In addition to support for 802.11 b/g and draft-n wireless technologies, the ThinkPad T400s support both WiMax and WWAN.
Lenovo has released a new thin-and-light business laptop called the ThinkPad T400s. The new ThinkPad T400s combines some of the design features found in the high-end ThinkPad X300 series along with the everyday enterprise options of the more conventional ThinkPad T400 series. The result is a laptop that weighs less than four pounds and is less than 1 inch thick. While the ThinkPad X300 series carries a hefty price tag, Lenovo decided to offer the T400s at a more reasonable starting price of $1,599. Other features found in the ThinkPad T400s include an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, DDR3 memory, a solid state drive option, and options for Wi-Fi, WiMax and WWAN. The Lenovo ThinkPad 400s goes on sale June 23.
