GoDaddy,com has become famous more for ads that haven’t appeared during the Super Bowl than for those that have. After a controversial ad was pulled before its second showing during the 2005 Super Bowl, GoDaddy.com received tons of press—bolstered in no small part by CEO Bob Parsons’ blogging about the incident. GoDaddy continued to create controversial ads, creating buzz around its marketing campaigns—if not the services of the company itself.
