The eWEEK Excellence Awards program recognizes products and services that raise the technology bar.
8th Annual eWEEK Excellence Awards
The 8th annual eWEEK Excellence Awards will give enterprise IT professionals a comprehensive benchmark for assessing products and services that demonstrate innovation and integrate cutting-edge technologies, while maintaining strong commitment to helping enterprises address their varied competitive, security and budgetary concerns. Products nominated for consideration should be designed to support the enterprise and/or be deployed across the enterprise.
Vendors may enter any number of products and services, either new offerings or major new updates. Products must have been announced during 2007 and available to customers no later than March 31, 2008. The entries will be judged by a team comprising eWEEK editors, eWEEK Labs analysts and eWEEK Corporate Partners, senior enterprise IT professionals who act as reader advisers to eWEEK's editorial staff. Entries will be judged on, among other criteria:
• Innovation
• Practical integration of emerging technologies
• Suitability to task
• Cost effectiveness
• Potential for helping companies create business efficiencies
• Manageability
• Potential for helping companies develop competitive advantage
• Secureability
This year, entrants will be able to select the category in which their product(s) best fit:

Entry Fee
Each entry will be charged a non-tax deductible fee of $50. After program expenses, proceeds will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, for use in technology-focused projects. Payment must accompany all submissions and must be made in check form. If submitting multiple entries please submit one check to cover all entries. Checks should be made payable to eWEEK.
Deadline
The deadline for entry has been extended. Entries must be postmarked by April 7, 2008.
Announcement of Winners
The winners of the 8th annual eWEEK Excellence Awards will be announced in a comprehensive special report that will run in print and online at www.eweek.com.
