Furthering the cause is Ipedo Inc., which will launch its Ipedo XML Database 2.0 this week. New features from Ipedo, of Redwood City, Calif., include free-form Extensible Markup Language searches for high-speed indexing, support for Scalable Vector Graphics files and the ability to make a database distributed across an enterprise.
XML transformationsthe ability to translate content from any given XML vocabulary into anotherare also new with 2.0. Large-document support is also enhanced with the new version, officials said.
