Adobe Systems has announced a strategic
agreement with Deloitte
Consulting to create and deploy a new generation of enterprise applications
with rich user experiences powered by Adobe technologies.
Adobe
officials said the company’s partnership with Deloitte Consulting will lead
applications that help extend the power, reach and impact of enterprise systems
for improved customer experience.
“We
are transforming user engagement with enterprise applications by unlocking
their full value for our clients and their customers,” said Paul Clemmons,
principal, Deloitte Consulting and emerging solutions national service line
leader, in a statement. “Through our alliance with Adobe, we are deploying
user-centric, rich Internet solutions that simplify complex applications and
integrate front end and back end systems for more productive and intuitive
business processes.”
“Customers
are demanding new ways to interact with businesses, and businesses are
responding by delivering richer, more intuitive experiences to customers across
a range of digital devices,” said Al Hilwa, program director for application
development software at IDC, also in a statement. “The strategic alliance
between Deloitte and Adobe will bring significant implementation expertise and
software solutions to organizations who are working on improving customer
access to their products and services.”
With
Adobe’s products for customer experience management, Deloitte can deliver
intuitive applications that enable an organization’s front-line employees to be
more customer-driven and help ensure customers can effectively use self service
tools any time, any place, Adobe said in a press release on the partnership.
Adobe
officials said the core Adobe products Deloitte will employ initially will be
the Flash Platform and Adobe LiveCycle. Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite (ES2)
is a Java Enterprise Edition based server software system that is used to build
applications that automate a range of business processes for enterprises.
LiveCycle combines technologies for data capture, information assurance,
document output, content services, and process management to deliver a variety
of enterprise solutions.
“Forward-thinking
businesses and government agencies recognize that compelling user experiences
drive technology adoption and build greater differentiation and brand loyalty,”
said Rob Tarkoff, senior vice president and general manager of the Digital
Enterprise Solutions group at Adobe, in a statement. “We are excited about our
relationship with Deloitte and look forward to accelerating the Customer
Experience Management market, while enabling them to leverage their existing IT
investments.”
