Peer-to-peer software developer Groove Networks, founded by Lotus Notes creator Ray Ozzie, has brought in a couple of seasoned IT industry executives to bolster the business side of its operations.Peer-to-peer software bellwether Groove Networks Inc. has brought in a couple of seasoned IT industry executives to bolster the business side of its operations. The Beverly, Mass., company today announced that Chuck Teubner is joining the company as president and chief operating officer. He will manage the day-to-day operations of the 240-person company and report to CEO and Chairman Ray Ozzie, who founded the company.
Teubner, 55, most recently was chief operating officer at Usinternetworking, where he performed much the same duties as he will at Groove. During a 30-year career, Teubner also held a top position at database maker Sybase Inc. and worked at the U.S. Department of Defense.
