Three new software packages, built around Content Manager, Tivoli and Lotus Workplace, are designed to ease the tracking and management of compliance-related data.In its drive to assist companies facing compliance with more than 100 national and international rules and regulations, IBM on Monday rolled out three new software packages designed to ease the tracking and management of compliance-related data. The middleware is built around three principal IBM software packagesContent Manager, Tivoli and Lotus Workplace.
The first, called Content Manager for Message Monitoring and Retention, combines Content Manager with iLumin Software Services Assentor software to provide a package for managing archived correspondence. The software, available now, enables companies to index, scan and analyze e-mail and flag relevant messages to help companies comply with regulations such as the Securities and Exchange Commissions Rule 17a-4, according to IBM officials.
