I got reacquainted with Novell AppNotes, from Novells research department, at BrainShare last month. Its a publication I hadnt seen in quite some time, and the revised edition is worth a look (online at, even if youre not a Novell user.

With articles on a range of technology topics, from LDAP to trouble-shooting Q&As, along with a searchable index, IT managers can get information and a fresh perspective on implementing network applications.

Of course, the AppNotes publication and Web site will be most useful for Novell administrators.

Although the print version is available for $99 per year, the online content is free.
