Adtran Inc. plans to roll out two additions to its NetVanta line of VPN products this month.
If youre looking for a new way to extend the security of your WAN to mobile workers and branch offices, Adtran Inc. plans to roll out two additions to its NetVanta line of VPN products this month.
For branch offices, the Huntsville, Ala., vendor developed NetVanta 2300, a midrange IP Security gateway that includes IPSec virtual private network encrypted tunneling, an inspection firewall and user authentication that supports public or private keys or digital certificates. It also provides a port for access to public servers and supports up to 100 tunnels.
Workers on the road might take advantage of NetVanta VPN Client, encryption and authentication software that lets users establish a secure connection to the corporate network by running software from their desktop or laptop.
NetVanta 2300 costs $2,495; NetVanta VPN Client starts at $89 per user.
