Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, along with Windows Consumer Marketing and Product Management corporate vice president Brad Brooks, outline some of the new features of Windows 7 at the operating system's Oct. 22 launch event in New York City. Company executives are promoting Windows 7 as the centerpiece of Micrsoft's "three screens and a cloud" strategy, involving not only user PCs, but also smartphones and televisions.
