Government IT: 10 NASA Missions to the Moon, Mars and Beyond
While much of the focus on NASA lately has concerned the end of the space shuttle program, it's fascinating to look at the unmanned space missions that have taught us so much about the celestial bodies around us. Since the 1970s, NASA has been sending probes to nearly every planet in our solar system, sending back information (and images) of priceless value. With the exception of the Apollo mission, all these spacecraft were unmanned, and some even today are continuing their lonely missions into the deep reaches of the universe.
