Green IT: Apple, Nokia, Others Get Greenlight from Greenpeace
Greenpeace recently released its annual Guide to Greener Electronics, ranking the world's electronics makers for their efforts to clean up their production processes. In Greenpeace's words, the organization wanted to "cut through the greenwash" and highlight product ranges on the market which really are free of hazardous chemicals like PVC and BFRs (brominated flame retardants).
