In September, the Solar-B, now known as the Hinode, was launched from the Uchinoura Space Center in Japan to help scientists better understand the sun's atmosphere.
 
 
 

On September 22nd, the Solar-B, now known as the Hinode, was launched from the Uchinoura Space Center in Kagoshima, Japan, to study the sun.
