Green IT: Porsche, Saab, Ford Rev Up Green Cars at N.Y. Auto Show
The New York International Auto Show, slated to run from April 2-11 in Manhattan's massive Jacob Javits Center, is a must-see event for automobile and technology enthusiasts. This year, many of the cars on display focus on energy efficiency, with big-name manufacturers such as Porsche and Ford rolling out new vehicles that attempt to leverage both gas and electricity to give their drivers upward of 40 miles per gallon on the highway.
In addition to those hybrid and all-electric vehicles, auto-show regulars such as Mini showed off their newest models, while high-end cars from the likes of Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin also made appearances.
