The U.S. Department of Defense has contracted information technology systems provider Unisys Corp. to implement an electronic medical records system for some nine million military beneficiaries.

The Department of Defense has contracted information technology systems provider Unisys Corp. to implement an electronic medical records system for some nine million military beneficiaries. Unisys will train 60,000 DoD personnel to use the Composite Health Care System and receive $31 million a year plus bonuses as part of a series of three one-year options. The Composite Health Care System was designed to integrate government-owned software.
