The Catalyst 6500 Virtual Switching System 1440 allows two switches to appear as one, reducing management burden and adding resiliency.

The Virtual Switching Supervisor 720-10G is a key component of the Catalyst 6500 Virtual Switching System 1440. The Virtual Switching Supervisor is compatible with Catalyst 6500 chassis already deployed in the network.
