Shopping for Cameras and Megapixels Instead of Storage Terabytes and Server Racks
Keeping the "e" in eWEEK, our beat reporters turned up gadgets, apps, phones, GPS devices and even a portable device with 1 terabyte of storage for less than $200, all with an eye toward informing a shopper whose day job involves terabytes, not megapixels.
eWEEK's reporters, editors and analysts try hard to keep the "e" in eWEEK, which, in case you didn't know, stands for "enterprise." There happens to be a pretty huge audience out there anxious to read about advances in megapixels and new apps for MySpace, but our advertisers don't see the value in trying to sell VOIP and enterprise-class storage to a 21-year-old trying to read camera phone reviews in her dorm room. So we steer clear.
