At this year's edition of its annual conference for Web designers and developers known as MIX, Microsoft offered up a slew of new technologies, starting with a new preview of the next version of its browser—the Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview. In addition, Microsoft delivered new tools for Windows Phone 7 Series application development, as well as new design tools and open-source technology for developers.
