Dave Duffield’s perennial sidekick, Bhusri also continues to be active at Greylock, a venture capital firm he joined after Duffield and Bhusri's previous incarnation, PeopleSoft, was acquired by Oracle. Duffield has anointed Bhusri as his eventual successor at Workday, a SAAS (software as a service) vendor in the human resources and ERP (enterprise resource planning) space.
Bhusri holds an MBA from Stanford University and a bachelor of science and arts degree in electrical engineering and economics from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
