FileNet Buys Shana for E-Forms Technology

The all-cash deal is valued at $8.5 million. Shana, based in Edmonton, Alberta, had already been a FileNet partner, jointly offering an integrated e-forms solution. That integration is expected to become even tighter now, according to FileNet officials, with support ranging from general forms management and delivery to more complex content- and process-centric uses.
FileNet Chairman and CEO Lee Roberts said in a statement that the addition of Shanas technology would enable FileNet to offer the industrys most comprehensive solution for the design, deployment, management and processing of e-forms.
