Google engineers Feb. 9 launched Google Buzz, the search engine's latest stab at social networking. The service, intended as an alternative sharing vehicle to Facebook and Twitter, lets Gmail's 176 million users post status updates and share Picasa photos, YouTube videos and links directly in Gmail.
