Interwise Moves Beyond E-learning; Landry Joins Board
InterWise moves beyond e-learning into broader enterprise communications space with the release Monday of its Enterprise Communications Platform; adds John Landry to board.InterWise Inc. is moving beyond the e-learning space into broader "enterprise communications" with the release Monday of its Enterprise Communications Platform, a product that provides audio, video and data sharing services. The Santa Clara, Calif., company also announced the addition of some collaboration software veterans to its management team. Joining the companys board are former Lotus Development Corp. executive John Landry.
InterWise ECP includes five "modes" of communication including iMentoring for customer support and tutoring, iMeetings for small-group videoconferencing, iClasses for skills training sessions, iSeminars for mass communications to audiences that number in the hundreds, and iCasts for live or on-demand broadcasts audiences in the thousands.
