Midmarket: Dell Printers Look to Challenge HP's Market Dominance
On March 30, Dell released eight new black-and-white printers as the PC maker looks to better compete against Hewlett-Packard, which continues to dominate the printing and imaging market. The eight new printers Dell released are part of a 2-year-old program to revamp its printing and imaging offers to allow the company to better compete for enterprise customers, as well as users in the SMB (small and midsize business) space. These printers are also designed to address the needs of specific markets, such as health care and education.
