As cost-conscious businesses struggle to do more with less and cut down on costs, InterCall offers midmarket companies affordable conferencing packages that could help cut down on travel expenses.
Conferencing and collaboration services provider InterCall announced
the launch of a line of conferencing packages designed for small to
medium-size business users. The InterCall SMB eCommerce portal features
user-friendly product offerings, pricing, a features comparison and a
streamlined set up process. The company said new customers could create
an account and get a confirmation within minutes. The Conferencing
Plans for Small Business offer anytime conferencing (no reservations
required), 24/7 technical support, permanent dial-in numbers and
conference codes with no set up fees.
Conferencing packages include unlimited call plans for up to 10 or
20 people, and InterCall also offers a pay-as-you-go plan for up to 125
people. For online meetings, the company offers an unlimited plan for
up to 20 people and a pay-as-you-go for up to 125 people. "InterCall
supports more than 75,000 organizations and over 1.5 million unique
conference leaders worldwide, including companies of all sizes - from
the largest of the Fortune 1000 to small 'mom and pop' operations,"
said Kathleen Finato, senior vice president of marketing and product
management at InterCall. "This translates into matchless experience in
delivering quality collaboration solutions to many different kinds of
organizations and our unparalleled expertise in customer care."
With the conferencing calling service, users receive their own
dial-in number, conference code and PIN. Then users give the dial-in
and conference code to participants and they can meet at anytime. With
Mobile Assist, users can join conferences using smartphones like
Apple's iPhone or BlackBerry devices as well.
Finato said based on research commissioned by InterCall, the company
knows that decision makers at SMBs want to present a credible,
professional image to their clients, and are looking for more value and
want to address urgent short-terms needs. "InterCall's small business
conferencing packages help SMBs accomplish all this by making
conferencing simple, affordable and easy to use," she said. "The new
packages allow customers to conduct on-demand audio conference calls
with no reservations, no time limits and no operators."
According to a survey sponsored by InterCall and conducted by TNS,
an independent research company, nearly one in two Americans (48
percent) who use technology in their everyday jobs say that they are
now required to do more work with fewer resources due to the current
economic climate. As an example, nearly one-third (30 percent) feel
that they need to stay connected to work 24/7, even during weekends,
breaks or holidays. However, 72 percent say that advanced technology,
such as conferencing and collaboration tools, enables them to work
faster, better and improves their morale.
