Midmarket: Rugged Bluetooth, Driving Apps, Phone Watches Stand Out at CTIA
The CTIA Wireless conference in Las Vegas is a chance for wireless companies to show off their latest mobile applications, devices and network plans. While larger companies such as AT&T and Verizon will likely dominate headlines with their announcements, a number of smaller IT shops are also debuting the products of tomorrow, including ruggedized smartphones and Bluetooth devices, mobile apps for navigation and driving, and even a wristwatch that doubles as a phone. Many of them reflect larger trends such as 4G connectivity, elaborate designs for smartphone cases and faster devices.
