The BlackBerry has long been pigeonholed as a business device, prized by road warriors and executives alike, but lacking the consumer shininess of the Apple iPhone or Google Android devices. However, while your BlackBerry will be likely geared toward business use for some time to come, parent company Research In Motion and its third-party developers recognize that even the most ardent workaholic needs to go on vacation occasionally, or to use his smartphone for reasons other than responding to that latest e-mail attachment. Hence these apps, which allow you to listen to music, play games and engage in a bit of nonwork social networking.
