Google last June began rolling out its Google Voice phone management application to more users. While the search engine has racked up more than 1.5 million users for the free Web app, there is still some confusion about what Google Voice actually does. Google Voice lets users integrate their home, work and cell phone numbers and voice mailboxes into one account, which can be accessed from the Web. Importantly, users can also manage how they receive each call, what voice mail message each caller receives, and whether a call goes directly to voice mail or to a particular device.
