Although 2010 is less than half over, smartphones have come to define the year. Whether it's Apple's iPhone, Google's Nexus One or RIM's BlackBerry, several devices have helped shape the experience of users while they're on the go. That said, there is still seven months left in 2010, which means several new devices will be hitting store shelves to compete with those products. "Impact" is hard to define when evaluating an industry. To some, impact might simply mean market appeal. To others, it could be a device's ability to push the market forward.
