ATT Offers Corporate Plan for iPhone
Apple is trying to win over business users to the iPhone with a corporate plan. This week AT&T announced a new plan for business users of the iPhone. Though the iPhone has been a smash hit with consumer users, corporations and enterprise installations have seen some resistance to wholesale adoption of the iPhone. The new plan requires the same two-year commitment as the regular plan, as well as a voice service and data plan, at a price of $45 per month. This offers the user unlimited data, visual voice mail and 200 SMS messages; a 1,500 SMS message option is $55 per month and a $65 per month plan gives all with no limits.
This does not include the cost of sending and receiving data, such as browsing Web pages in the iPhone's Safari browser. That will run an extra $25 per month with a 20MB limit or $60 per month with a limit of 50MB. The data plan would cover 29 countries around the world.
