VisorPhone Springboard Module

Handsprings VisorPhone Springboard module extends cellular phone capabilities to Visor handheld devices. While the resulting combination allows for a great deal of expansion flexibility, it makes a relatively inelegant cellular phone.

SHORT-TERM BUSINESS IMPACT // As a Springboard module, the VisorPhone works with current Visor handhelds, so users dont need to invest in all-new devices.

LONG-TERM BUSINESS IMPACT // The modular VisorPhone scheme leaves the door open for upgrading the handheld or the cell phone portions alone, potentially allowing companies to save money further down the road.

Reduces the number of devices to carry; provides a large screen on which to work.

Makes for a relatively large phone; lacks bundled Internet software.
